Author Biography

Andy Burrows, author of Bumper Sticker was the publisher and president (as well as an author) for Pro Lingua Associates from 1980 through 2021. He began his publishing career as an undergraduate and graduate student at Yale and Radcliffe. He moved to Vermont to be managing editor of The Stephen Greene Press. He then earned his MATESOL degree at the School for International Training, taught at the American Language Academy in DC, and founded the secondary school intensive English program at Northfield Mount Hermon. With Ray Clark, he helped develop language materials in 12 seldom taught languages for the Peace Corps.
